Our Mission
The mission of Pathos Legacy is to provide a book for every child in Haiti. We aim to inspire a curiosity and love for learning in the hearts of children.
Our Vision
Pathos Legacy is built on five pillars that we believe come together to provide a comprehensive and holistic approach to education that sets children up for success in their education and in their futures.
The 5 Pillars of Pathos Legacy are:
Pathos Reading: Foster a love of reading by providing access to books for children, both to own and to borrow.
Pathos Science: Provide hands-on learning experiences for children in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (STEAM).
Pathos Family: Provide support and education for families to promote a family environment that supports children in communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and creativity (21st-century learning skills).
Pathos Playing: Provide a supporting and safe structure for kids to stay active through creative and collaborative play such as soccer, kite flying, frisbee, etc.
Pathos Education/School Support: Encourage and support schools in implementing curriculum and activities that incorporate the Pathos focus areas; reading, STEAM, family, and activities.
